With or Without Salt?

Need a reason to go for Margarita’s?

Here it is - This Friday , February 22 is National Margarita Day! and there’s a lot of folks that claim February to be National Margarita Month!

There have been many claims to the origin of the Margarita,  ask five bartenders and you will probably get five different responses.   What we do know is that margarita is Spanish for  “daisy”.  Since the name is Spanish, our opinion is the Margarita originated in Mexico or by a Mexican. Whoever created the first concoction knew what they were doing, as it has been one of America’s favorite cocktail beverage for years!

The secret to making a good margarita is the quality of the ingredients and the right balance of  tequila, triple sec and lime juice.
