Girls’ Haven is excited to announce that their Annual Gumbo Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th, 2018.
Their annual Southeast Texas gumbo cook-off will be held once again at the Parkdale Mall parking lot.
Enjoy some of the best SETX gumbo in three categories: seafood, poultry and combination. There is also a People’s Choice award your family can vote on. Do you love real Southeast Texas gumbo? Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy some of the best.
The Girl’s Haven Gumbo Festival is scheduled from 11am – 5pm.
There will be live entertainment from area bands – country, zydeco, and rock and roll.
Your child will enjoye the kid’s area with pony rides, a petting zoo, and inflatable moonwalks.

Gumbo tickets are sold on-site. Admission and Parking is FREE. $7.00 is for a large bowl of your favorite gumbo or 4 small bowls of different gumbo, in case you can’t choose just one!
