I remember first discovering Ralph and Kacoo’s on a trip to Louisiana. I’ve been back many times.

Of course it is more convenient now that there are locations here in Lufkin and in Beaumont.

When I go, I enjoy making a dinner out of the seafood appetizers. Try the Crab Cake, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, and Crab Fingers.

If you’re there during happy hour, try the wings. They smoke them first and then grill them.

They also have Tex Mex and some Texas style comfort food.
